Sitting upstairs in my home and suddenly receiving a tornado warning alert on my phone, I panicked, ran downstairs, got all the dogs to the basement (we'd trained for this!), only to realize I didn't have any collars, leashes, bowls, or even a flashlight down there with us. Fast forward a few months and we were possibly going to need to evacuate due to an armed and dangerous criminal in the area. I frantically ran around stuffing dog supplies into bags.

Thankfully, in both cases, we were safe and didn't need to leave. But over and over again, I've watched friends across the country need to evacuate due to wildfires, hurricanes, riots, and more.  I started to look for an easier solution to evacuating with 10 dogs. We'd trained for running to the basement or outside in an emergency, but if we truly had to leave, it sure would be easier to have the peace of mind knowing I'd always have a basic leash, bowl, pickup bags, first aid supplies, and a toy on hand in an easy to grab pack to make things more manageable. I put together packs for my own dogs and friends immediately begged me to make some for their pets, too...and so, Pet Go Packs was born!
